We built Helpthread because we wanted to own ours.
Resonant IQ needed support software we could operate, inspect and extend, without putting another vendor between us and our customers. So we built it.
It became useful enough that keeping it to ourselves stopped making sense. The core is now open source under AGPL-3.0, and Resonant IQ funds its development by selling optional modules for it.
We use Helpthread ourselves every day. We aren't offering a hosted version, and we have no access to the conversations running through your deployment.
